Arc’s Value Village

Social Ministry is organizing another service opportunity at Arc’s Value Village in St. Paul on March 10 from 9:00 – 11:00.  We had a great time last year.  Volunteering will likely consist of sorting donations, tagging merchandise, hanging clothing, stocking shelves and racks or straightening the sales floor.  Volunteers are critical to Arc’s ability to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in the greater Twin Cities area.  We will be looking for at least 10 volunteers. A signup sheet will be at the Welcome Center.  The last day to sign up is Wednesday, March 7.  More information on The Arc can be found at arcgreatertwincities.org.

Coming in April

The Social Ministry April drive will support Operation Gratitude.  We will collect beanie babies, and they will be distributed by U.S. service members deployed overseas to children in their area.  A monetary donation can also be made to help with the shipping costs.  Watch for more details in Hope and Happenings and the April Breadcaster.
