During our recent council orientation and planning retreat, your newly elected leaders and those you reconfirmed at the congregational meeting in January agreed that the following three goals will be the primary goals to guide the work of the congregation this year. Those goals are:
- To deepen our relationships with God / Christ / Holy Spirit.
- To increase involvement… (You can fill in this phrase with things like participation in worship, service in the community, etc…) The point here is that we work together to get more people involved in the life of the congregation and community. This is involvement both in and outside of the congregation.
- To increase our mission field. (I personally look forward to talking with you all about what this means… and believe the council does too)
