A meeting for those 18+ interested in learning more about the AmeriCorps Legacy Corps program will be held Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 4:00 at FamilyMeans, 1875 Northwestern Ave. So., Stillwater. Participants in this program spend time with children or adults in Washington County who have disabilities or chronic health issues. Serve 450 hours beginning Oct. 1 and receive a monthly stipend of $200 and additional money for education upon completion of a year of service. Flexible scheduling is available.
