OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD has become an important part of the “holiday giving season” for members of House of Prayer. Shoeboxes filled with small gift items help bring the love of Jesus Christ to hurting children around the world. Service Ministry Committee is coordinating collection of shoeboxes and gift items. On Sunday 11/17/13, Sunday School children will pack our boxes. Collection continues until 11/17/13. Shopping lists are with the collection bin in the Narthex. Hard candy is allowed (no chocolate)… think left-over Halloween candy! “Build” your own box – or contribute any of the assorted items on the list.
