Save the date for our annual Community Christmas Breakfast on Saturday, December 6th as we celebrate the beginning of the Advent Season and the hope of Christmas at House of Prayer Lutheran Church. Funds raised from this festive event will benefit our companion congregation, the Ifunda Parish. Handouts to share with neighbors, friends, and family are available from the Welcome Center. Your help is needed for the Silent Auction! Please consider donating a basket or items for the Silent Auction at the Community Christmas Breakfast. Suggestions include homemade items, theme baskets, tickets to games and plays, and toys or Christmas-themed items. Use your imagination! Your donations, which may be brought to the church office, make the silent auction successful and are so very appreciated!
Start your engines! Along with familiar Christmas Breakfast activities, like the Silent Auction, Santa meet and greet, and Tanzanian Dukka (shop), where you’ll be able to buy authentic African items, we’ll also be holding Pinewood Derby races. Car kits are available for purchase from Dean L for $5, but you’re also welcome to race an existing Pinewood Derby car for a $1 entry fee to benefit the Ifunda Parish.
