Social ministry

HOP volunteers pack food at Feed My Starving Children volunteers in Fall 2010

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
— Matthew 25:35-36

As Christians we are called to serve others, and it is an important role of the church to support those in need and to share God’s love with all.

The Social Ministry committee provides a variety of opportunities to allow all of us to be active in supporting others and share God’s love and word.
