Women’s Bible Study 2010-2011 from Lutheran Woman Today is based on the theme, “The People of God: Unity in the Midst of Diversity.” Topics include: “Reading the Bible,” “Stewardship,” “Race and Culture,” and “Gifts of the Spirit.” Women of Hope will again sponsor the series. East Central Cluster Autumn Meeting: Women of the East Central Cluster will gather on Thursday, October 14 for the Autumn Meeting. Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3770 Bellaire Ave, White Bear Lake  is hosting.  Registration ($3) is at  6:30 p.m. and  7:00 p.m. is business and program. “Lest We Forget,” presented by Tony Carr (Stillwater), honors his grandparents and parents, telling of the courage and strength with which they lived an African-American journey in this country. Part of Tony’s Black Memorabilia collection, gathered while researching, will be available to view. Handouts are at the Welcome Center for the meeting:  Tony Carr’s project and the material offering shopping list. We need to RSVP by October 10, and we’ll carpool from HOP.
