To the Youth Grades 6-8: What is all this faith stuff about anyway? Who am I as a person? Do I fit in? What does it mean that I am a Christian? How am I different from anyone else? Is there really a God? How do you know? What does God want me to be when I grow up? What do I want to be when I grow up? These are questions you are probably asking yourself! That’s great, come and ask these and other questions! Join us in Confirmation as we explore what it means to be a Christian in today’s world! What? What is a fast food formal progressive dinner you ask? Well, we dress up in our best clothes and then gather together table cloths, silverware, napkins, and ‘electric’ candles, and we head out to our favorite fast food restaurants where we set the table and have a one-course-at-a-time meal. After each course we head to the next place… We know you’ll have a blast, so watch for sign up details or contact Barb or Pastor Dan for more information!
House of Prayer Youth Take Over ValleyFair!: More than 20 youth and chaperones took over Valleyfair for a fun filled afternoon of rides. Even through the heat, everyone enjoyed the cool breeze of fast roller coasters and plentiful free water from the concessions stands.
Hangin’ Out: Remember, with school beginning again that means confirmation is right around the corner. And with confirmation comes Hangin' Out! Hangin' Out will continue this year: Wednesdays after confirmation.
Youth Sunday Bible Study: We begin between services on Rally Sunday, September 19. Come to the Youth Room at 9:45 a.m.
Youth Committee: If any of you out there are interested in making the YOUTH committee the most happening place around, come on down for our meetings! We meet in the Youth Room at 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month.
