Beginning in January we will begin participation in an 18 month Mission Renewal project with the Saint Paul Synod and some of our sister churches in the area. To do so we are in need of 6-8 people from the congregation who would be willing to be part of this journey and to engage the congregation in this process. The purpose of the Mission Renewal Process is to help congregations answer the question, “What is God calling us to be and do in this time and place?”
People on this team will read “Unbinding the Gospel” by Martha Reese together; will meet with other churches periodically also going through the process to discuss ‘how it’s going’, and also have conversations with members of the congregation and community about faith and community need.
