Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of
God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your
minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is
honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever
is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of
praise, think about these things.

Thank God for the great opportunities that are offered to our congregation in
this time of the Faith Forward ministry campaign. Thank God for the exciting
times that stand before us. Thank God that we are committed to meeting these
opportunities as we are led by God’s Spirit. Acknowledge before God that
change can challenge even those who are committed to it. Ask for the calming
power of God’s presence, and for God’s guidance to lead us to that which is
God’s will for us
