Fall Sunday School

Another year of Sunday school is about to begin at House of Prayer.  Come join us at 9:40 each Sunday starting September 8th between Worship Services, for Worship, Bible Stories, and much more.  Weekly, after our Sunday School opening worship/music time we will divide in to 2 groups: the younger kids (P-K thru 3rd grade) and older kids (4th thru 6th grade).

The younger kids will continue using a rotational style program in which kids hear the same Bible story for 3-4 weeks in a row, but each week the story is heard/seen in a different way.

Rotations for this fall will be:

  • The Creation Story (teaching us God provides our basic needs)
  • Stewardship (teaching us God provides so we can care for God’s creation and each other)
  • Covenant (teaching us God provides us with promises)
  • Wandering in the Wilderness (teaching us God provides during times of need)

The older kids will dive deep into Bible Stories in a variety of ways using the “Connect” curriculum.

Let the Spirit Guide You:  We are looking for people who would like to teach either group of kids for 2-3 weeks during the upcoming year.  Class materials have been pre-developed, so there is very little planning to do and you can personalize it to your liking or follow what at been prepared.
